Itex has been awarded official ‘Gold Partner’ status by Hewlett Packard. It is the first company from the offshore islands of the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey to achieve Gold status, and is one of the first in the world to be selected by HP to join its elite programme.
The largest UK offshore IT service provider, which expanded its operation in the Isle of Man in April, has met a strict level of technical, training and revenue criteria set by HP in order to achieve this status. Being a Gold Partner has a distinct number of business advantages for clients.
From now on, Itex will be able to provide clients with greater insights into HP’s technology roadmap than other offshore IT providers are able to. The company benefits from regular access to pre-release, non-disclosure information which it can pass to clients before any other offshore IT provider in the Isle of Man, Jersey or Guernsey. An example is new HP EXDS9100 storage platform, which will bring together expandability of storage capacity and bandwidth in one machine.
Itex directly delivers services on behalf of Hewlett Packard through two programmes – the Authorised Warranty Delivery Provider (AWDP) programme and Authorised Business Solutions Partner (ABSP) programme. In addition, Itex also holds the Hewlett Packard Data Centre and Storage Works Solutions specialisms.
